Katie will be offering tea leaf readings in the studio this October! Each reading is $35/per person and available for 1-6 people per seating time. If you book less than 6 you may be paired with others for your reading. Please arrive on time! Late arrival will mean less time to enjoy your tea & reading.

Your tea leaf reading includes a cup of tea with instructions on how to drink it so the leaves will remain in the bottom of your cup for a reading. You’ll be offered a choice of caffeinated, decaffeinated, and herbal teas. Katie will help you determine shapes and patterns that emerge in the bottom of your cup and their meanings. This is modern take on tasseography and I encourage you to look for your own shapes and patterns in your cup. What you see could very well be your own subconscious speaking to you! Think of me as your guide/coach to help determine the meanings.

Katie has inherited the art of tasseography (tea leaf reading) from her beloved grandmother, Florence, who preferred the nickname Alice. Alice taught Katie the “proper” way to make tea, including the importance of pre-warming the pot. Katie loved drinking tea with Alice both as a child and adult! Alice lived to be 92! Alice’s mother, Florence, (Katie’s great grandmother) also read tea leaves and the tradition of tasseography has been passed down in their family for many generations.
